This Privacy Policy explains how Podsalt Dubai (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit podsaltnic.ae, place an order, or contact us. We handle your data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
1. Who we are and how to contact us
Podsalt Dubai is an online shop based in Downtown, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We sell original Pod Salt nicotine products to adults aged 18 and over. We decide how and why your data is used, so we are the controller of the data described below.

2. What data we collect
Checkout and orders
You do not need an account to buy from us. At checkout we collect your first name, country (UAE only), address, city, phone number and email address. You may add order notes. If you want the order sent somewhere else, you can give a separate delivery address with a name, company, address lines, city, state, postcode and phone number. We also keep the details of what you ordered, the payment method you chose and the order status. Our order system also saves how you reached our site, such as a search or an ad, with your order.
We do not collect or store your card number. Payment is made on delivery, in cash or by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at your door.
Age check on delivery
When your order arrives, our delivery staff check your ID to confirm you are 18 or over.
Existing accounts
New accounts cannot be created. If you already have an account, we keep your login details and order history linked to it.
Contact form
If you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, subject and message.
Product reviews
If you post a review, we collect your name, email address, rating and review. Your name, rating and review are shown publicly on the product page.
Order tracking
To use order tracking you enter your order number and email address. We use them only to show you the status of that order.
WhatsApp chats
If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, your profile name and the content of the chat. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and has its own privacy practices.
Technical data
When you visit the site, our server and security firewall record technical data such as your IP address, browser, the pages you request and the time of the request. The firewall also logs login attempts. The Google Ads tag collects similar data, such as cookie identifiers, device information and the pages you visit, and sends it to Google.

We use cookies and similar technologies. See section 6.

We do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share your data with
- Delivery staff and delivery partners. We give them your name, address, phone number and order details so they can deliver to you and carry out the age check.
- Google. We send emails such as order confirmations through a Gmail SMTP connection, so Google processes those emails. We also use a Google Ads tag to measure advertising results.
- Meta / WhatsApp. If you choose to chat with us on WhatsApp, Meta processes that conversation.
- Security and performance tools. Our website runs on a server that stores site data. We use a security firewall and caching tools that handle technical data.
- Authorities. We may disclose data to courts, regulators or law enforcement when the law requires it.
We only share what is needed for each purpose.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers, including Google (email and advertising) and Meta (WhatsApp), may process data outside the UAE. We only transfer data where this is needed to handle your order or request, or where the UAE Personal Data Protection Law otherwise allows it, and we rely on the contractual and security safeguards these providers offer. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can contact us by phone or email instead.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We do not currently show a cookie banner or ask for your consent. The advertising and order attribution cookies below are set for all visitors, as soon as a page loads. The names and durations are typical and can change.

Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the cart and checkout from working. You can limit ad personalization in your Google ad settings. If you object to advertising or order attribution cookies, you can block them in your browser or contact us.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep order records for as long as needed to complete the order, handle returns and complaints, and meet legal, accounting and regulatory requirements in the UAE. Messages and contact form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including a security firewall, access controls and limiting who can see order details. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you may have the right to:
- get information about how we use your data, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how it is protected when it leaves the UAE;
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to certain uses;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
Some rights are limited where we must keep data by law, for example order records. To use a right, email [email protected] or use the contact form. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we will reply as soon as we reasonably can. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.
10. Children
Our products and website are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
